The National Center for Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (NCNN) is a flagship national research initiative established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan. The center is dedicated to advancing scientific research, innovation, and technological development in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
NCNN is inviting applications from highly motivated and qualified professionals for multiple PSDP-funded positions in the NCNN Secretariat and its Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory, hosted at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
NCNN Secretariat Vacancies
Program Manager (PPS-9)
Vacancies: 01
Master's degree in Science or Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience in managing Science & Technology projects.
OR Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
Business Development Manager (PPS-8)
Vacancies: 01
Management degree with at least 2 years of experience in business development related to Science & Technology.
Candidates with IT experience will be preferred.
Accounts Officer (PPS-7)
Vacancies: 01
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for financial transaction processing and reporting is required.
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (PPS-7)
Vacancies: 01
Master's degree in Science or Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
OR Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Functional Nanomaterials Laboratory Vacancies
Research Assistant (PPS-6)
Vacancies: 04
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, or a related discipline.
At least 1 year of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Nanomaterials for electrocatalysis
Energy conversion and storage
Electrochemical sensing and biosensing
Water treatment
Electronic Technician (PPS-6)
Vacancies: 01
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of experience in handling scientific equipment related to material characterization.
PhD Students
Vacancies: 04
Applicants must already be enrolled in a relevant PhD program at LUMS.
MS Students
