The University of Gujrat (UOG) has announced Advertisement No. 03/2026 for qualified professionals interested in teaching opportunities as Visiting Faculty for the Fall Semester 2026. Applications are invited from candidates who meet the prescribed academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience according to the prevailing Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria.

Applicants must possess the prescribed academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience according to the prevailing HEC criteria, along with the eligibility requirements prescribed by the University of Gujrat.
If a candidate meets the eligibility criteria for a higher academic rank, the University may consider the candidate for engagement against the higher post, subject to institutional requirements.
In exceptional circumstances, where there is an urgent academic requirement and an insufficient number of eligible applicants for the Lecturer position, particularly at the Institute of Hotel & Restaurant Management (IHRM) and School of Law, a candidate may be considered for engagement as an Associate Lecturer, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria and approval of the competent authority.
Documents Required
Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original documents at the time of interview and submit one set of attested photocopies of relevant credentials, including:
Academic degrees and certificates
Transcripts / Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs)
Experience certificates, where applicable
Domicile certificate
CNIC
HEC/EBCC Equivalence Certificate, where applicable
One attested photograph
Any other relevant supporting documents
Candidates whose examination results have not been officially declared by the concerned Board/University by the closing date will not be considered.
Important Terms & Conditions
The maximum remunerable teaching workload for a Visiting Faculty member is 12 credit hours per semester.
No remuneration will be provided for workload exceeding 12 credit hours.
The University will not provide office accommodation, residential accommodation, transportation, or other fringe benefits to Visiting Faculty members.
Visiting Faculty members must follow the University's statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and codes of conduct.
The engagement is purely temporary and semester-specific.
Visiting Faculty engagement does not create any right or claim to seniority, regular appointment, contract appointment, extension, or preference for any future position.
The University reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel any advertised post wholly or partially without assigning any reason.
The University may increase or decrease the assigned workload according to student enrollment, formation of sections, commencement of academic programs/courses, and appointment of regular faculty members.
