Appointment criteria for initial Full-Time Consultant positions:
1. For candidates trained in Pakistan: Successful completion of a formal postgraduate medical education program. Award of the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS). Completion of a relevant sub-specialty Fellowship.
2. For candidates trained internationally: Successful completion of MRCP (UK), FRCS, or another equivalent international fellowship. Alternatively, American Board certification(s), including the relevant sub-specialty boards, where applicable. In addition, candidates must have at least three years of experience in a Western institution.
Note: All Senior Instructor positions for Karachi & Peshawar involve working at Lahore for two years, followed by two years of training overseas.
