KOEN AJ&K is offering position for Gulpur Hydropower Plant at Barali, Kotli Azad Kashmir Pakistan. Post Title: Shift Control Engineer - 01 Post. Qualifications: BS Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics. Main Duties: To supervise, monitor and operate the complex via SCADA reliably and efficiently under direct supervision of Shift Charge Engineer, to assist Shift Charge Engineer in maintaining close liaison with ISMO/RCC/NGC, 132kV Dadyal & Kotli Grid Stations for necessary activities regarding switching operations, to assist in tackling emergency situation, to identify and report plant defects, to assist shift charge engineer in providing technical input on safe and efficient operation of plant especially during restoration after station blackout or system collapse, to assist in submission of daily station generation report to NPCC, to prepare daily operational log and assist in preparation of fault/tripping report/DIR/IIR, to ensure operation within SOP/PPA limits. Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 03 year of experience in operation of power plant, excellent knowledge of plant systems including generators, turbines, GIS, Power Transformers, EDGs and other auxiliaries through Auto and Manual Operation, experience to control plant operation through SCADA, record data, declaration of DAC/RDAC and PTW, should be well aware of safety protocols and SOPs LOTO procedures.
