Job Title / Introduction
The Office of the Ombudsperson (Mohtasib) Punjab, Lahore, has announced multiple temporary career opportunities under the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010. Applications are invited from eligible candidates having Punjab domicile for positions at the Head Office and Regional Offices across Punjab.
A total of 48 posts are announced across IT, data processing, networking, law, administration support, driving and other categories. The positions are initially offered for six months and may be extended based on satisfactory performance.

Assistant Director (IT)
Master's degree (16 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent/relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institute, with at least 5 years' post-qualification professional experience in software development. Experience in software systems, Microsoft .NET technologies, databases and system integration is required. Preference will be given to candidates with team-lead experience and experience managing major IT/software projects.
Data Processing Officer
16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Network Technician
BS/MSc (16 years) in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field from a local HEC-recognized university, with 3 years' post-qualification experience in designing, implementing and managing complex network infrastructures.
Law Officer
LLB or equivalent with minimum 2nd division from an HEC-recognized university, along with 5 years' practice as an Advocate in the High Court. Candidates should have relevant experience in legal drafting, pleadings, court proceedings, litigation, legal opinions and related documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Assistant Legal Assistant
LLB degree with second division or related qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institution, with 3 years' experience supporting court documents, pleadings, legal correspondence, case diaries, court processes and legal records.
Law Intern
LLB degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution. Fresh graduates and candidates with experience or a master's qualification in litigation/legal drafting will be preferred.
IT Intern
Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
Media Intern
BBA, M.A. or 16 years of education in any discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in social media handling.
Stenographer
Intermediate with second division from a recognized Board/institution. Shorthand speed of 70 WPM in English and typing speed of 35 WPM.
Junior Computer Operator
Intermediate with second division from a recognized Board. English typing speed of 40 WPM and Urdu typing speed of 25 WPM.
Junior Clerk
Intermediate with second division from a recognized Board and English typing speed of 40 WPM.
Driver
Matric from a recognized institution, valid LTV/HTV driving license, knowledge of traffic rules and road safety regulations, and medical fitness with good eyesight.
Naib Qasid
Middle pass from a recognized school or registered Board.
Chowkidar / Sanitary Worker / Cook Cum Khansama / Sweeper
The required qualification is as specified in the advertisement. Sanitary Worker, Cook Cum Khansama and Sweeper require candidates to be literate. Preference for female candidates is stated for Cook Cum Khansama, Caretaker and Sweeper.
Caretaker
Matric from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to female candidates.
