Sindh Prisons Jobs 2026 – Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison (BPS-11)
The Inspectorate General Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service has announced recruitment for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison (BPS-11) and Lady Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison (BPS-11). Applications are invited from suitable candidates having domicile of Sindh Province.S
The recruitment process will be conducted through Pakistan Testing Service (PTS). Candidates who successfully qualify the physical test will be called for the written test. Selected candidates will undergo training and may be posted anywhere in Sindh.

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison (BPS-11)
No. of Posts: 23
Age: 21–28 years
Graduation with at least 2nd Division from any HEC-recognized university.
Physical Requirements
Height: 5 feet 5 inches
Chest: 33 inches × 34.5 inches
Vision: 6/6 in both eyes
Running: Candidates must complete 1.6 kilometers within 7 minutes
2. Lady Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison (BPS-11)
No. of Posts: 02
Age: 21–28 years
Graduation with at least 2nd Division from any HEC-recognized university.
Physical Requirements
Height: Minimum 5 feet
Vision: 6/6 in both eyes
Walking: Candidates must complete 800 meters within 14 minutes
Total Vacancies
A total of 25 posts have been announced:
Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison: 23 posts
Lady Assistant Sub-Inspector Prison: 02 posts
Applicants must:
Hold a valid Sindh Province domicile.
Possess the required graduation qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
Meet the prescribed age and physical standards.
Fulfill all eligibility requirements by the closing date.
Be medically fit for appointment.
No relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed.
The Minority Quota will be observed according to the policy of the Government of Sindh.
Physical Test & Written Test
Candidates who qualify the prescribed physical test will be called for the written test conducted through PTS.
The date, time and venue of the physical and written tests will be communicated separately through SMS and call letters/website notifications.
Only candidates who successfully qualify the physical test will proceed to the written-test stage.
Applications are invited online through Pakistan Testing Service (PTS).
Candidates must pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1,600/- through designated HBL bank branches across Pakistan using the prescribed PTS fee deposit slip available on the PTS website.
After depositing the fee, candidates applying through the PTS Data Entry Portal must:
Visit the official PTS website.
Complete the online application form.
Upload a clear scanned image/photo of the original paid HBL deposit slip.
Ensure that the uploaded deposit slip clearly shows the required bank stamp/signature/receipt.
Make sure all text on the uploaded slip is clearly readable.
Applications will only be processed after PTS receives valid proof of fee payment through the online application portal.

The online application form and paid fee deposit slip must be submitted/uploaded on the PTS website by the specified deadline.
Important Instructions
Only candidates with Sindh domicile are eligible.
Government employees who meet the eligibility requirements may apply through the proper channel.
Original certificates/documents will be verified for candidates called for interview.
Any incorrect or false declaration may result in automatic disqualification at any stage.
Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Applications received after the closing date will be rejected.
No TA/DA will be provided for the test or interview.
Candidates must not send any other documents by courier at this stage.
Only a clear image of the paid fee deposit slip is required to be uploaded through the PTS online portal.
Incomplete or unclear deposit-slip images will not be accepted.
The deposit slip must contain the required bank stamp/signature/receipt.
All information on the uploaded deposit slip must be readable.
The Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
Selected candidates will undergo the required training.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Sindh.
Final selection will be subject to a medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized government hospital.
Candidates with a criminal record, fake documents, or physical disability will be disqualified.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will generally proceed through the following stages:
Online Application → Physical Test → Written Test → Interview/Document Verification → Medical Fitness → Final Selection & Training
