Position Details
Computer Lab Assistant
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Providing technical support to students, faculty, and laboratory users.
Assisting with computer hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Maintaining computer lab equipment, systems, and IT resources.
Monitoring daily laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
Ensuring data security and the safe use of computer systems.
Responding to user queries and providing technical assistance.
Preparing and updating laboratory documentation, user manuals, and technical guides.
Coordinating with the IT team to resolve technical issues.
Conducting routine maintenance, inventory checks, and equipment inspections.
Staying updated with emerging technologies and best IT practices.
Performing any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
