NADRA Jobs 2026 – Deputy Assistant Director Positions
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, has announced Job Opportunities for male and female candidates. The recruitment will be made on a temporary basis for technical positions in DevOps, Infrastructure, VAS Operations, Networking and System Administration.
All listed positions have a maximum age limit of 30 years, with a 5-year upper age relaxation already included.

Deputy Assistant Director (Junior DevOps Engineer)
Experience:
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of web servers, GIT, CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash and Ruby.
Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar tools.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes containerization.
Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka and similar real-time platforms.
Experience managing data sources such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
Development experience in cloud environments.
Working knowledge of Azure, HCS and related technologies is preferred.
Deputy Assistant Director (Junior Infrastructure Engineer)
Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university.
Degrees must be attested by HEC.
Experience:
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
High-availability servers, storage and networking systems.
Linux, Windows and Unix operating systems.
VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or KVM virtualization.
Shell scripting and automation using Ansible/Chef.
Enterprise web and application servers including Tomcat, Apache, Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere.
Backup and disaster recovery operations.
System performance monitoring, capacity planning and bottleneck mitigation.
Deputy Assistant Director (VAS Operations)
Experience:
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic exposure to open-source VoIP technologies.
Understanding of call flows, queues, IVR, agents and monitoring dashboards.
Basic Linux, VMware, Ceph, GIT, CI/CD, Bash scripting and networking knowledge.
Basic troubleshooting of call issues such as one-way audio, registration failures, latency and jitter.
Understanding of SIP, RTP, extensions, trunks and codecs.
Linux CLI, file systems, users, services and permissions.
System monitoring, log analysis and basic troubleshooting.
TCP/IP, DNS and routing fundamentals.
Virtualization concepts.
Docker and containerization.
Basic Python/Shell/Bash scripting.
Ability to follow SOPs, ticketing, incident and change management processes.
Deputy Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core)
Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university.
Degrees must be attested by HEC.
Master's degree will be preferred.
Experience:
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Network-related certification(s) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate P2P Fiber, DRS and 3G/4G connectivity links nationwide.
Coordinate with ISPs for troubleshooting and link optimization.
Maintain network inventory, topology diagrams and documentation.
Testing, acceptance and handover of network links.
Monitor network performance and availability through NMS.
Work with DCN, CAN, Metro and other network technologies.
Understanding of SDN and cloud environment operations.
Understanding of SD-WAN technology and operations.
Deputy Assistant Director (System Administrator)
Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university.
Degrees must be attested by HEC.
Experience:
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Monitor Data Center infrastructure, NMS dashboards and service status.
First-level troubleshooting for Linux systems, Windows servers and network issues.
Perform backup verification, job schedule checks and system health monitoring.
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, TCP/IP, networking and information security.
Cloud-based system administration experience will be preferred.
