National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) – Career Opportunities
The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Government of Pakistan, has announced career opportunities for qualified and experienced government officers on a deputation basis. NAVTTC is seeking the services of dynamic, motivated and qualified officers working in Federal/Provincial Governments and Autonomous Bodies against BPS-19 equivalent positions at its Headquarters in Islamabad.
Applications are invited for the positions of Director (International Cooperation) and Director (National Skills Information System). The appointments will be made through the prescribed deputation procedure and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
These NAVTTC jobs are particularly suitable for regular government officers with experience in TVET, international cooperation, management, information technology, digital/data management, research, skills development and related fields.

Experience
Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience/Government service in BPS-17 and above.

TVET
Research and analysis
Administration within the TVET sector
Preference will be given to candidates having 1–3 years of relevant experience with an international organization.
2. Director (National Skills Information System) – BPS-19
Location: NAVTTC Headquarters, Islamabad
Employment Type: Deputation Basis
Maximum Age: 50 Years
Minimum 16 years of education in any of the following fields:
Computer Science
Information Technology
Software Engineering
Data Science
Information Systems
Related fields
The degree must be from an HEC/foreign recognized university or institute.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing additional professional certifications in:
IT
Data Management
Information Systems
Cybersecurity
Software Development
Related fields
Experience
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience/Government service in BPS-17 and above.
Relevant experience may include:
TVET management
Information Systems / Information Technology
Digital and data management
Research and analysis
Programme planning
Related fields
Preference will be given to candidates having 2–3 years of relevant experience in:
Skills development
Labour market information
Digital transformation
TVET systems
These positions are specifically intended for regular public/civil servants.
Eligible applicants must be:
Regular employees of Federal Government organizations;
Regular employees of Provincial Government organizations; or
Regular employees of Autonomous Bodies.
Working in the same scale/equivalent scale as the advertised position.
Meeting the prescribed qualification and experience requirements.
