Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services – Program Introduction

The Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services is a flagship healthcare initiative launched by the Government of Punjab under the Punjab Family Planning Program and implemented through the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic, Department of Health. The program aims to strengthen primary healthcare services by deploying trained healthcare professionals at the community level to improve maternal and child health, family planning, disease prevention, and public health awareness across Punjab.

Under this initiative, Community Health Inspectors (CHI) will serve within their nearest Union Councils and local communities, ensuring accessible healthcare services while promoting healthier lifestyles and preventive healthcare practices. The program offers qualified nursing and midwifery professionals an opportunity to contribute to community health while working close to their hometowns.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be registered with the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC).

Applicants should belong to one of the following categories:

Charge Nurse

Lady Health Visitor (LHV)

Midwife

Community Midwife (CMW)

Family Welfare Worker (FWW)

Maximum Age: 43 Years

Job Location

Selected candidates will be posted in their nearest Union Council or local area across all districts of Punjab, enabling them to serve their own communities.
