Candidates must possess qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) along with the required postgraduate qualifications relevant to the advertised specialty.

Professor

Applicants should generally possess:

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC.

Relevant postgraduate qualification such as FCPS, MS, MD, PhD, DSc, MRCP, FRCP, American Board, FRCR, FRCA, MDS, or other equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC (depending on the specialty).

Extensive teaching experience in recognized medical institutions.

Required research publications in PMDC-recognized journals as prescribed for the relevant specialty.

Associate Professor

Applicants should generally possess:

MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.

Relevant postgraduate qualification in the respective specialty.

Required teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a recognized medical institution.

Prescribed research publications in recognized medical journals.

📌 Age Limit

The prescribed age limits vary according to the post:

Professor: Generally 35–55 years (Male) and 35–58 years (Female).

Associate Professor: Generally 32–50 years (Male) and 32–53 years (Female).

Applicable age relaxation will be admissible according to the Government of Punjab recruitment rules.
