Rawalpindi Women University Jobs 2026
Rawalpindi Women University (RWU), Rawalpindi, a public-sector women’s university, has announced teaching positions on regular basis under the contributory pension scheme and a Treasurer (BS-20) statutory post on a 3-year non-extendable contract basis. Teaching positions are open to candidates from all over Pakistan, while the non-teaching Treasurer position is restricted to Punjab domicile holders.

Teaching Posts – Regular Basis
Professor (BS-21) | 01 Post | Computer Science / Information Technology
PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Information Engineering or relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution/DAI.
15 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution/college/university OR 15 years of relevant professional experience in a national/international organization, including at least 5 years of teaching experience.
OR 10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or relevant professional experience in a national/international organization.
15 research publications, including at least 5 publications during the last 5 years, in HEC/PEC-recognized journals.
Professor (BS-21) | 01 Post | Management Science / Business Administration
10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or relevant professional experience in a national/international organization.
15 research publications, including at least 5 during the last 5 years, in HEC/PEC-recognized journals.
Associate Professor (BS-20) | 01 Post | Computer Science
PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Information Engineering or relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized institution/college/university OR 10 years relevant professional experience in a national/international organization, including at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Associate Professor (BS-20) | 01 Post | Information Technology
5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or relevant professional experience in a national/international organization.
10 research publications, including at least 4 during the last 5 years, in HEC/PEC-recognized journals.
Assistant Professor (BS-19) | 03 Posts | Computer Science
PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Information Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
Assistant Professor (BS-19) | 05 Posts | Information Technology
PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Information Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
Statutory Post – 03-Year Contract Basis
Treasurer (BS-20) | 01 Post | Age: 40–50 Years
The appointment will be for 3 years on a non-extendable contract basis.
Option 1:
PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing or Economics from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
8 years post-qualification relevant experience.
Option 2:
MS or M.Phil. (Second Division) in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, Economics or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
10 years post-qualification relevant experience.
Option 3:
MBA in Finance, M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, M.Sc. Economics (Second Division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
12 years post-qualification relevant experience.

Candidates applying for more than one position must submit a separate application and separate bank draft for each post.
Important Details
Recruitment will be made according to Recruitment Policy 2021 and applicable HEC faculty appointment criteria.
Teaching positions are open to candidates from all over Pakistan.
Only Punjab domicile candidates can apply for the non-teaching Treasurer position.
Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Body employees must apply through proper channel.
Experience gained on daily wage, part-time, visiting, honorary or apprentice basis will not be counted.
Candidates with foreign/domestic qualifications requiring equivalence must provide the relevant equivalence certificate from the competent authority.
Maximum age relaxation will be applicable according to Government rules.
Age will be calculated as of the closing date.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview where applicable.
No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
Preference may be given to women, subject to merit.
3% quota for persons with disabilities and 5% quota for minorities will be observed according to Government rules.
The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, not fill any post, or withdraw/withhold an appointment.
