SMBB Institute of Trauma Karachi Jobs 2026

Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi has announced multiple job vacancies for eligible candidates on a contract basis. The institute is seeking applications for medical, nursing, technical, and administrative positions. Most positions require candidates to have a Sindh domicile, while the position of Aya is open to candidates from all domiciles.

The appointments will initially be made for 02 years on a contract basis, which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance. Selected candidates will be paid according to the Trauma Pay Scale.

1. Specialist Anesthetist

📌 Qualification & Experience: MCPS (Anesthesia) with valid and effective PMDC registration. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a well-reputed hospital.

📌 Age Limit: Not specified

Domicile: Sindh

2. Fellow Plastic Surgery

📌 Qualification & Experience: FCPS in Plastic Surgery with valid and effective PMDC registration.

📌 Age Limit: 45 Years

Domicile: Sindh

3. Resident Medical Officer (ICU/Anesthesia)

📌 Qualification & Experience: MBBS, completed house job, complete training in FCPS/MCPS/DA in Anesthesia, and valid and effective PMDC registration.

📌 Age Limit: 45 Years

4. Senior Medical Officer (ICU/Anesthesia)

📌 Qualification & Experience:

MBBS with house job and 02 years of experience in the Anesthesia Department of any well-reputed hospital.

MBBS with house job, valid and effective PMDC registration, and 02 years of experience in the ICU Department of any well-reputed hospital.

📌 Age Limit: 45 Years

Domicile: Sindh

5. Resident Medical Officer (Orthopedic)

📌 Qualification & Experience: MBBS, completed house job, completed training in FCPS in Orthopedic Surgery, and valid and effective PMDC registration.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

Domicile: Sindh

6. Digital and Content Marketing Officer

📌 Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, knowledge of SEO and digital marketing, with 05 years of experience.

📌 Age Limit: 40 Years

Domicile: Sindh

7. Staff Nurse

📌 Qualification & Experience: Registered Nurse with a diploma and valid and effective PNC registration.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

Domicile: Sindh

8. Radiology Assistant

📌 Qualification & Experience: Sindh Medical Faculty X-Ray Technician Diploma with at least 03 years of practical experience in any well-reputed hospital.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

Domicile: Sindh

9. Perfusion Technologist

📌 Qualification & Experience: BS/BSc in Perfusion Technology with house job. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in any well-reputed hospital.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

Domicile: Sindh

10. CSSD Technician

📌 Qualification & Experience: CSSD Technician Diploma with 02 years of experience working in the CSSD of a well-reputed hospital. OR OT Technician Diploma with 02 years of experience working in the CSSD of any well-reputed hospital.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

Domicile: Sindh

11. Aya

📌 Qualification & Experience: Matric pass candidates will be given preference.

📌 Age Limit: 35 Years

The appointment will not be regularized on the basis of the post.
