Local Government & Housing Town Planning Department – 38 Vacancies
The Government of Sindh, Local Government & Housing Town Planning Department has announced 38 vacancies for eligible candidates having Sindh domicile and Permanent Residency Certificate (PRC). The vacancies are available in different offices and departments against posts from BPS-05 to BPS-14.
Applications are invited for Stenographer, Draftsman, Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator, Assistant Draftsman, Cashier, Flash Imam, Land Inspector, Tracer and Typist. Candidates meeting the prescribed qualification, age and experience requirements can apply through the Sindh Government Job Portal.

Stenographer – BPS-14
Graduation from a recognized university.
English shorthand speed of 120 words per minute.
English typing speed of 35 words per minute.
MS Office certificate from a recognized institute.
Draftsman – BPS-13
Graduation from a recognized university.
At least 2-year Diploma in Architectural Draftsmanship from a recognized institute.
Minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience.
Computer Operator – BPS-12
Relevant graduation/technical qualification in computer-related field.
DIT, Computer Science or relevant diploma/qualification from a recognized institute may be accepted as prescribed under the recruitment rules.
Data Entry Operator – BPS-12
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology.
At least 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university.
Assistant Draftsman – BPS-10
Intermediate from a recognized Board.
At least 18-month Diploma/Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship from a recognized institute.
Cashier – BPS-07
Intermediate (Commerce), B.Com, BS Finance, BS Finance & Accounts or equivalent relevant qualification.
MS Office certificate from a recognized institute.
English typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Flash Imam – BPS-05
Sanad Shahadat-ul-Alamia or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute.
At least 7 years of practical experience as Khateeb.
Relevant Qirat and religious knowledge/skills.
Land Inspector – BPS-05
Matriculation from a recognized Board.
Relevant experience and typing skills will be preferred as per applicable recruitment requirements.
Tracer – BPS-05
Matriculation from a recognized Board.
At least 2 years of relevant tracing experience.
Typist – BPS-05
Matriculation from a recognized Board.
MS Office certificate from a recognized institute.
English typing speed of 30 words per minute.
General Eligibility
Candidates must have Sindh domicile and PRC.
Applicants must fulfill the prescribed qualification and experience requirements for the relevant post.
Age will be considered according to the applicable Government of Sindh rules.
Upper-age relaxation will be allowed according to relevant Government of Sindh notifications/rules.
Government employees must apply through proper channel and obtain an NOC before applying.
Testing & Recruitment Process
The IBA Sukkur Testing Services (STS) will conduct the required screening/written test.
Candidates securing at least 40% marks in the General Screening Test will be considered for the subsequent recruitment process, subject to fulfillment of all other eligibility requirements.
Original educational and other relevant documents must be produced before the recruitment/selection committee at the interview stage.
