Government of Sindh Local Government & Housing and Town Planning Department
The Government of Sindh, Local Government & Housing and Town Planning Department has announced multiple vacancies for eligible candidates having Sindh domicile and Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province.
Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates for various positions in the Sindh Civil Services and Local Government Academy, Tando Jam, Regional Directorates and Field Offices of Local Government, Provincial Local Government Commission Karachi, and Sindh Master Plan Authority Directorate of Town Planning.
A total of 38 vacancies are available in different Basic Pay Scales (BPS-05 to BPS-14). Candidates who meet the prescribed educational qualification, experience, age limit and other conditions are eligible to apply through the Government of Sindh Job Portal.

Important Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
Candidates must have Sindh domicile and Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province.
Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test – Graduation Category conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with at least 40% marks and must possess the certificate issued by STS.
The age of applicants will be calculated from the closing date for submission of applications as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.
The upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in the relevant notification of the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department dated 06 March 2025.
The quota reserved for initial appointments will be observed according to the applicable laws, rules and policies of the Government of Sindh.
Candidates already serving in Government departments must obtain an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their department before submitting the application.
Government employees must bring the original NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
Appointments will be made according to the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26 April 2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and its rules, as amended from time to time.
Candidates will be required to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with their original documents for interview according to the schedule that will be uploaded on the Job Portal.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
