Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan Jobs 2026 – Multiple Contract-Based Career Opportunities
The Planning & Development (P&D) Department, Government of Balochistan is the provincial government's key department responsible for development planning, project formulation, policy implementation, and monitoring of public sector development initiatives across the province. To strengthen its development framework, the department has announced new contract-based vacancies under the project "Establishment of an Independent CSR/MRS Wing Balochistan like Sister Provinces by Collaboration of P&D and Finance Department."
Applications are invited from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals to join the project team. These positions are initially offered on a two-year contract, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
Available Positions
1. Project Director (PPS-09)
No. of Posts: 01
Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university.
Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences, MBA, or Accounting & Finance.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 10 years of experience in public sector development projects.
Strong understanding of Project Management and Public Works.
Experience in CSR/MRS processes and updating CSR/MRS editions will be considered an added advantage.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
40–62 Years
2. Deputy Project Director cum Director Operations (PPS-08)
No. of Posts: 01
Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university.
Preferred disciplines include Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences, MBA, and Accounting & Finance.
Experience & Skills
At least 5 years of experience in public sector development projects.
Knowledge of Project Management and Public Works.
Understanding of CSR/MRS mechanisms and updating procedures.
Knowledge of data collection methodologies and AI/ICT-based digital data collection systems.
35–62 Years
3. Director Technical (Senior Engineer) (PPS-09)
No. of Posts: 01
BE Civil Engineering from a recognized Engineering University.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 10 years of experience in public sector development projects, preferably as XEN or SE.
Sound knowledge of CSR 2018 Specifications, Project Management, and Public Works.
Experience in CSR/MRS updating will be considered an additional advantage.
35–62 Years
4. Assistant Engineer (Civil)
No. of Posts: 01
BE Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks from a recognized Engineering University.
Experience & Skills
Knowledge of modern engineering standards and construction practices.
Ability to evaluate efficient, economical, and effective engineering solutions.
Technical knowledge of CSR/MRS procedures will be preferred.
25–55 Years
5. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
No. of Posts: 01
BE Electrical/Solar Engineering with at least 55% marks from a recognized Engineering University.
Experience & Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards and best practices.
Understanding of cost-effective and efficient engineering solutions.
Experience or knowledge of CSR/MRS technical procedures will be considered an added advantage.
25–55 Years
6. Computer Programmer (IT Expert)
No. of Posts: 01
Bachelor's (4-Year) or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology from a recognized university.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Database Management Systems.
Experience in Web Development.
Knowledge of CSR/MRS processes will be considered an additional qualification.
25–55 Years
