The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is Pakistan's premier civic and development authority responsible for the planning, development, and management of the federal capital, Islamabad. As part of its flagship development initiatives, CDA is establishing the New Islamabad Convention, Exhibition, and Expo Centre and is inviting applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals to join the Project Management Unit (PMU) on a contract basis. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to one of Islamabad's landmark infrastructure projects.

Available Positions

1. Senior Manager – PMU (PPS-10)

Vacancies: 01

📌 Age Limit: 38–55 Years

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

Registered Professional Engineer with PEC.

Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

Experience in senior leadership positions.

Preference will be given to candidates who have led internationally recognized mega building projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall PMU project coordination.

Supervise project planning, procurement, execution, and monitoring.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government departments.

Monitor project timelines, risks, quality, and documentation.

Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, and project status updates.

2. Manager Civil (PPS-9)

Vacancies: 01

📌 Age Limit: 30–45 Years

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

Registered Professional Engineer with PEC.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise civil, structural, and architectural works.

Review engineering drawings and technical submissions.

Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Prepare progress and inspection reports.

3. Manager MEP (PPS-9)

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).

Registered Professional Engineer with PEC.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP systems for large construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, elevators, BMS, and related systems.

Review technical drawings and commissioning plans.

Ensure compliance with approved specifications.

Coordinate with Civil, ICT, Security, and BIM teams.

4. Manager IT (PPS-9)

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, AV systems, smart buildings, networking, and cybersecurity.

Experience in convention centers, airports, stadiums, or similar facilities will be preferred.

Professional IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Manage ICT, networking, CCTV, access control, AV, and smart building systems.

Coordinate technology infrastructure planning and implementation.

Supervise testing, commissioning, and documentation.

5. Manager BIM (PPS-9)

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Professional BIM certification.

Experience

Minimum 8 years of BIM implementation experience on major projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage multidisciplinary BIM models.

Conduct clash detection and constructability reviews.

Coordinate BIM meetings and digital project documentation.

Support as-built BIM development and facility management handover.

6. Manager Finance (PPS-9)

📌 Qualification

MBA Finance, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure projects, or public sector financial management.

Experience with government procurement and financial procedures will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project budgeting and financial planning.

Monitor project expenditures and financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with public financial regulations.

Support procurement and financial management processes.

7. Documentation Officer (PPS-7)

Vacancies: 01

📌 Age Limit: 30–40 Years

📌 Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, Architecture, Library Sciences, HR Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Higher qualification will be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), Microsoft Office, and project collaboration platforms.

BIM-enabled document management experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain project documentation in physical and digital formats.

Manage document control, indexing, version control, and archiving.

Coordinate document submissions and approvals.

Support audits, inspections, and project reporting.
