The University of Layyah – Vacant Positions
The University of Layyah has announced Advertisement No. 03/2026 inviting applications from Punjab-domiciled Pakistani citizens for various Regular/Contract positions. The vacancies are available in administrative, clerical, technical, driving and support staff categories.
Candidates who meet the prescribed qualification, experience and age requirements can apply online through the University of Layyah website. Depending on the post, applicants may be required to appear in a screening test conducted through the Independent Testing Service.

Master's degree or BS (4 years) / equivalent qualification with at least 2nd Division.
Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office.
2. Junior Clerk – BS-11

Age: 18–30 Years
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) with at least 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
English typing speed of 25 words per minute on computer.
Proficiency in MS Office or any compatible office application.
3. Cook – BS-05

Age: 18–30 Years
Secondary School Certificate (SSC) with at least 2nd Division or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
4. Bus Driver – BS-04

Secondary School Certificate (SSC) with at least 2nd Division or equivalent qualification.
Valid HTV driving licence.
Valid PSV driving licence.

Important Terms & Conditions
Applicants must be Punjab-domiciled Pakistani citizens.
Candidates already employed in Government, Semi-Government departments or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel by the due date.
Advance copies of applications will not be entertained.
Age relaxation for serving Government employees will be admissible according to Government policy.
Candidates must submit a separate application for each post if applying for more than one position.
Candidates applying for open and reserved quota must submit separate applications as required.
The Selection Committee reserves the right to decide whether an appointment will be made on regular or contract basis.
Quotas for disabled persons, minorities and women will be observed according to the applicable rules.
Candidates appointed on regular basis will be covered under the contributory pension scheme as per Government of Punjab rules.
No TA/DA will be admissible for test, interview or related proceedings.
Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
The University reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel or withhold any post or the entire advertisement without assigning any reason.
The decision of the University/Selection Committee will remain binding in all cases.
