Job Title / Introduction

Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology (NSIC), Sargodha, under the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab, has announced career opportunities for qualified professionals on a lump-sum contract basis.

The available positions are Finance Director (BPS-19) and Medical Director (BPS-19). The appointments will be made for specified terms and may be extended/re-appointed subject to satisfactory performance.

📌 Eligibility Criteria

Finance Director – BPS-19

📌 Qualification:

Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Finance) from an HEC-recognized institution.

CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CFA will be preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, preferably in the public sector, healthcare sector, or an autonomous body.

At least 3 years of experience in a senior financial leadership position such as Director Finance, CFO, or Head of Finance Department; alternatively, 5 years of experience as Deputy Treasurer, Deputy Director Finance, etc.

Tenure: 3 years, with eligibility for re-appointment subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.

Medical Director – BPS-19

📌 Qualification:

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of post-fellowship experience in a recognized healthcare institution.

At least 5 years of clinical leadership experience as Medical Director, Head of Department, or equivalent.

At least 10 research publications in HEC/PM&DC-approved or internationally indexed medical journals in the relevant specialty.

Tenure: 4 years, with eligibility for re-appointment subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.
