PMC Gwadar Shipyard Jobs 2026 – Ministry of Defence Production

PMC (Gwadar Shipyard), under the Ministry of Defence Production, Government of Pakistan, has announced contract-based vacancies for the development project titled “Establishment of Project Management Cell (PMC) for Creation of Shipyard at Gwadar.” The appointments will initially be made for 1 year, extendable on a performance basis, under the Standard Pay Package of the PSDP Project.

A total of 06 vacancies are available at Rawalpindi for Pakistani nationals.

Assistant | PPS-05 | 01 | B.A./B.Sc with IT diploma and typing speed of at least 35 WPM; minimum 3 years’ relevant experience | Up to 50 years

Driver | PPS-01 | 01 | Primary Pass with valid LTV driving license and knowledge of traffic rules; minimum 2 years’ driving experience | Up to 50 years

Naib Qasid | PPS-01 | 01 | Matric Pass; relevant experience and ability to read/write English | Up to 50 years

Sanitary Worker / Sweeper | PPS-01 | 01 | Primary Pass; relevant experience in cleaning, sweeping and hygiene | Up to 50 years

📌 Eligibility Criteria

CFO / Accounts Officer (PPS-07):

Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CA preferred.

At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a major company or large corporation.

Preference for CA, CPA or CMA-qualified candidates.

Strong communication, time management, financial analysis and accounting skills.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of ERP/financial planning systems.

Familiarity with Public Finance Management and General Financial Rules.

Preference for candidates proficient in E-AAA, SAP, e-Office and IPAS.

Assistant Private Secretary (PPS-06):

Bachelor’s degree.

Shorthand speed of 100 WPM and typing speed of 50 WPM.

At least 2 years’ experience in a Steno Typist category with supervisory officers.

Proficiency in MS Office and InPage.

Good English writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Assistant (PPS-05):

B.A./B.Sc with IT diploma.

Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.

Preference for higher experience, particularly in the public sector.

Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and Secretarial Best Practices preferred.

Driver (PPS-01):

Primary Pass.

Valid LTV driving license.

Knowledge of traffic rules.

Minimum 2 years’ driving experience.

Higher experience, preferably in the public sector, will be preferred.

Naib Qasid (PPS-01):

Matric Pass.

Relevant experience.

Ability to read and write English.

Higher experience, preferably in the public sector, will be preferred.

Sanitary Worker / Sweeper (PPS-01):

Primary Pass.

Relevant experience, preferably in the public sector.

Knowledge of quality cleaning, sweeping and hygiene products.
