Applications are invited for the post of Director General, Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA) in Islamabad on a contract basis. Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications from an HEC-recognized university:
PhD in Applied Sciences, Natural Sciences, Administrative Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
MS/M.Phil in Applied Sciences, Natural Sciences, Administrative Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
M.Sc./BE/BS (Hons.) with minimum Grade "B" in Applied Sciences, Natural Sciences, Administrative Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
Candidate must be Muslim.
Knowledge of Halal-related systems, WTO, TBT, and OIC/SMIIC will be preferred.
Basic knowledge of Islamic Shariah regarding Halal is required.
Master in Public Health along with MBBS will be preferred.
Good competency in computer applications (MS Office).
Maximum 55 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
Experience
PhD: Minimum 18 years of relevant experience.
MS/M.Phil: Minimum 20 years of relevant experience.
M.Sc./BE/BS (Hons.): Minimum 22 years of relevant experience.
Experience in relevant public or private organizations is required (public sector preferred).
Salary / Pay Scale
Equivalent to BS-21.
