Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) has announced 800 regular vacancies for suitable candidates having Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile. Applications are invited online through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA). Female candidates and minorities are specially encouraged to apply.

Candidates must be citizens of Pakistan with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile.
Candidates must meet the prescribed qualification and age requirements for the relevant post.
Candidates applying for Drivers (BPS-06) must have a valid Government-issued HTV/LTV driving license. Fresh driving-license application tokens will not be accepted.
Diplomas from banned boards/councils will not be considered.
Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through the proper channel/NOC.
For foreign degrees, an HEC equivalence certificate is required.
Age relaxation will be admissible according to existing Government Rules.
Mandatory Physical Test
Male candidates | 01-mile running in 07 minutes; minimum height 5'6" and chest 33"
Candidates aged 40 years and above | 01-mile running in 09 minutes
Female candidates | 01-mile running in 09 minutes; minimum height 5'2"
Screening Test & Selection Process
The minimum passing threshold for BPS-01 to BPS-16 is 40% marks and above.
Educational Criteria | 70 Marks
ETEA Test Weightage | 20 Marks
Interview | 10 Marks
ETEA may also conduct ability/skill tests, including driving, computer literacy, diving and other relevant tests where required.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Original CNIC, certificates/degrees and mark sheets must be produced during the relevant testing and verification stages.
Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination at Police & Services Hospital, Peshawar, followed by mandatory training of six months or as prescribed and the required examinations. A Police Clearance Certificate and Surety Bond will also be required before/after appointment as specified in the advertisement.
