Government of Gilgit-Baltistan Health Department Jobs 2026
The Health Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, has announced vacancies for the 50-Bedded Cardiac Hospital on a fixed-pay basis. Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for various medical, technical, administrative, and support staff positions.
A total of 43 positions are available on Fixed Pay (SPS). The recruitment will be made for a period of one year, and preference will be given to candidates holding Gilgit-Baltistan domicile for most posts, while certain support positions are specifically reserved for GB domicile holders.
1. General Nurse
No. of Posts: 08
Fixed Pay: Rs. 60,000 per month
Maximum Age: 40 years
Domicile: Open Merit; preference to GB domicile holders
Bachelor's (4-year) degree in Nursing or equivalent from an HEC/PNC-recognized university; OR
3-year Diploma in General Nursing or equivalent from a PNC/HEC-recognized institution, along with:
1-year Certificate/Course in Midwifery
Valid registration with PNC/HEC.
2. Cath Lab Technician
No. of Posts: 05
Fixed Pay: Rs. 50,000 per month
Maximum Age: 40 years
Domicile: Open Merit; preference to GB domicile holders
BS/BSc (4-year) in Medical Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent qualification from an HEC/NTC-recognized university.
3. ECG Technician – Female
No. of Post: 01
Fixed Pay: Rs. 45,000 per month
Maximum Age: 40 years
Domicile: Open Merit; preference to GB domicile holders
BS/BSc (4-year) in Medical Cardiovascular Technology; OR
2-year Diploma in the relevant technology and
2 years of relevant work experience.
4. ETT Technician – Female

7. Radiographer Technician

BS/BSc (4-year) in Radio Technology.
3 years of relevant work experience in a recognized government/private hospital in CT Angio and Radio Fluoroscopy.

Matriculation in Science.
2-year Diploma in the relevant technology.
9. Pharmacy Technician
