The Government of Punjab, Special Education Department has announced School Teaching Interns (STIs) Jobs 2026 for District Faisalabad. Applications are invited from suitable and eligible candidates for the hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching positions in government special education institutions of Faisalabad district.
These STI positions have been announced in pursuance of Notification No. SO(Estt)3-26/07(3859) dated 25 March 2026 issued by the Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department.
Fresh candidates with the required qualifications are encouraged to apply. Candidates having relevant teaching experience may be given preference. Men, women and transgender persons are eligible to apply for these School Teaching Intern positions.

Candidates must possess the relevant academic qualification prescribed for the respective position.
1. Junior Special Education Teacher (VI) – BS-16
Required Qualification:
M.A. or BS with First Division / Grade-B in Special Education.
Specialization in the field of Physically Disabled or equivalent qualification.
Degree must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
2. Senior Special Education Teacher (HI) – BS-17
Required Qualification:
M.A., M.Ed. or BS with First Division / Grade-B in Special Education.
Specialization in the field of Deaf / Hearing Impaired or equivalent qualification.
Degree must be from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Monthly Honorarium
Selected School Teaching Interns will receive the following monthly honorarium:

Junior Special Education Teacher BS-16 Rs. 40,000/- per month
Senior Special Education Teacher BS-17 Rs. 45,000/- per month
Duration of STI Engagement
The engagement of School Teaching Interns will be:
Purely temporary and school-specific.
Non-transferable.
For a period of 09 months, excluding summer vacations, during the Financial Year 2026-27; or
Until the arrival of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
The engagement will not confer any right to regular appointment.
The engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable.

Monthly honorarium will be Rs. 45,000 for BS-17 and Rs. 40,000 for BS-16.
No right of regular appointment shall be conferred upon the selected candidate.
Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by the concerned authorities.
The engagement may be terminated by giving one month's notice or payment in lieu thereof.
Age relaxation in the upper age limit shall be admissible according to the applicable Government of Punjab rules and instructions.
The department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
