The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan has announced Advertisement No. 14/2026 for regular and contract-based positions. The vacancies are available under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Contributory Provident Fund Rules-2022. Applications are invited from qualified candidates who meet the prescribed education and experience requirements.

Associate Professor – Computer Science | BPS-20 | 01 | Ph.D. in relevant field from HEC-recognized University/Institution. 10 years teaching/research experience or 10 years relevant professional experience, including 2 years teaching experience, OR 5 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research or relevant professional experience. Must have 10 research publications, including at least 4 in the last 5 years in HEC/PEC-recognized journals. | Up to 50 Years
Associate Professor – Mechanical Engineering | BPS-20 | 01 | Same qualification and experience requirements as Associate Professor above. PEC Registration Card in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. | Up to 50 Years

Assistant Professor – Center of Artificial Intelligence | BPS-19 | 02 | Ph.D. in relevant field from HEC-recognized University/Institution. Three years' contract basis. Initial appointment is for 6 months, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years or until the arrival of an employee appointed on regular basis against the same sanctioned post, whichever is earlier. | Up to 45 Years

Treasurer – BPS-20
Candidates must hold a First Division B.S/Master's degree with 16 years of education or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or be a Chartered Accountant from an HEC-recognized University/DAI.
Required experience:
17 years for candidates with 16 years of education
15 years for candidates with 18 years of education
13 years for candidates with Ph.D.
Experience must be in Accounts, Finance & Audit or Financial Management in a University, Government Department or Autonomous Statutory Organization at BPS-17/equivalent or above.
Associate Professor – BPS-20
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
They must meet either of the following experience routes:
10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/University, or 10 years professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization, including at least 2 years of teaching experience; or
5 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized University/postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field.
Candidates must also have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications during the last five years in HEC/PEC-recognized journals.
Assistant Professor – BPS-19
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution.
For Computer Software Engineering, a PEC Registration Card in COMP is mandatory.

Additional Documents for Associate Professor Applicants
Applicants for Associate Professor positions must also submit:
03 sets of research papers published in HEC-recognized journals (W, X or Y category).
03 copies of the list of journal publications showing the year of publication and name of the journal.
Foreign degree/certificate holders must provide an HEC/IBCC Equivalency Certificate before the closing date.
Documents in languages other than English must be accompanied by an officially verified English translation.
Where transcripts/DMCs do not mention percentage marks, applicants must provide an official percentage certificate issued by the Controller of Examinations or relevant issuing authority.

Age relaxation will be considered according to government rules on a case-to-case basis. Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will be rejected.
Candidates who previously applied for the same faculty positions under Advertisement No. 05/2026 or for Treasurer under the advertisement dated 06.01.2026 must submit a fresh application with the required documents and evidence of their earlier application. They will not be required to pay the processing fee again.
