Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives – Jobs 2026
The Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives (MoPD&SI), Government of Pakistan is responsible for national development planning, policy formulation, monitoring, evaluation, and institutional strengthening to support sustainable socio-economic development across the country.
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced professionals for appointment on a contract basis in the Population, Monitoring & Results Tracking Unit (MTU), established as a subcomponent of the project titled “Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of MoPD&SI.” The appointment will initially be for two years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.

Unit Head/Team Lead MTU – 01 Position
Pay Scale: PPS-12
Job Type: Contract
Maximum Age Limit: 58 Years
🎓 Qualification & Eligibility
Master's degree in Public Policy, Management, Finance, Public Health, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Strong written communication skills in English.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5–7 years in development planning at a senior position.
Experience in the health/population sectors will be preferred.
Experience with a government delivery unit, international organization, or equivalent institution will be an advantage.
Experience engaging development partners and donors at senior level will be preferred.
